About the European Games Award |
The European Games Award is the first award exclusively for European video and computer game developers, which lets professionals and gamers from all over Europe participate in the voting for the best games.
The award ceremony – after having been held in Cologne (Germany) for two years – will then take place in a different European capital each year. The première of the European Games Award on August 14th 2010 will be in an extraordinary location: on the Pure Liner, an event ship, which will leave Niehler Harbor in Cologne and will sail along the Rhine during the award ceremony.
The European Games Award wants to demonstrate how many important games have been developed in Europe, and it wants to honor the work of the developers, publishers and all those involved in the production and marketing of games. |
